CEO Appointment

The Toronto Workers Club Board of Directors are delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Launt as Chief Executive Officer effective from Saturday 4th February 2023.

Ben succeeds Mark Singleton who retires on 3rd February 2023 after 39 years of service. We wish Mark all the best in his retirement and thank him for his dedication to the business.

Toronto Workers Club President Jeff Hogan said “Ben was chosen after an extensive interview process and is an outstanding choice bringing a wealth of experience from both an economics & business background”.

Mr Launt has been Chief Financial Officer of Toronto Workers Club for 10 years.

Dear Members,

After 39 years here at Toronto Workers Club I have chosen to retire this coming February. It has been a privilege to have led this organisation and contribute to its development into the successful group of business’s it is today.

I’m delighted to announce that Ben Launt, who has been with us as Chief Financial Officer for 10 years will be moving into the role of Chief Executive Officer. The Board & I are confident Ben’s skills, experience and leadership will continue to grow the Toronto Workers Club Group ensuring every success of the business and team.

Members, you are key to the success the business is built upon and I thank you for your support and friendships over the years.
